LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has extended by six days the judicial remand of 43 suspects allegedly involved in the burning of a Christian couple in Kot Radha Kishan, Express News reported.

All 43 suspects were presented in court on Tuesday during a hearing of the Kot Radha Kishan case.

On November 20, the court had extended the judicial remand of 39 suspects and also granted three-day physical remand of 16 accused to Kot Radha Kishan police.

An enraged mob on November 4 beat the couple to death and then burnt their bodies in the brick kiln where they worked, for allegedly desecrating the Holy Quran. The incident took place in the town of Kot Radha Kishan, some 60 kilometres from Lahore.
