Road accident: Woman killed in AJK

MUZAFFARABAD: A woman was killed and five other members of a family were injured in a road accident in Darra Sher Khan, some 180 kilometers away from the capital city of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). According to the police, a car fell into a deep ravine while taking a sharp curve in Darra Sher Khan killing a 65-year-old woman on the spot. Five family members of the deceased were in the car and received injuries. They were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Kotli. Two of them who were stated to be in critical condition were referred to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad for further treatment. The deceased was identified as Jannat Bibi.
