Ombudsmen: Grievance commissioners appointed
ISLAMABAD:
The federal ombudsman has appointed grievance commissioners to provide speedy relief to the public. According to a notification issued on Monday, Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Secretary Haseeb Athar has been appointed as the grievance commissioner for prisoners of federal government agencies. Senior adviser Imtiaz Inayat Elahi has been appointed grievance commissioner for complaints related to civic bodies including the Capital Development Authority, whereas Hafiz Ahsan Ahmed Khokhar has been given the charge of grievance commissioner for overseas Pakistanis. The federal ombudsman has asked the public to forward their complaints either by post or online.
