MARDAN:

The Awami National Party (ANP) will “wipe out” Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the next general elections, Amir Haider Hoti said while addressing a public gathering in Mardan on Monday.

The ANP leader added his party had taken “revolutionary steps” for the development of the province, while the present provincial government is busy using K-P to secure power in Punjab.

Hoti claimed the people of the province will never forgive PTI chief Imran Khan for insulting the mandate of the people and hence will not vote for him again in the next general elections.

“They (PTI) have deceived the people with slogans of change, fulfilling none of the promises they made so far,” said Hoti. “Our purpose is not to secure seats in the assemblies, but to serve the people.”

A number of local elders from different political parties announced to join ANP on the occasion.
