
During his visit to the Quaid’s mausoleum he said that Daish would be dealt with like any other terrorist group.
The minister, talking to the media, said that PTI is free to register a peaceful protest on December 12. “But no one will be allowed to challenge the law,” Sharjeel said.
He said that the Sindh government has assured transporters to run their vehicles without fear on December 12. The government will provide security to traders and transporters, he said.
Commissioner Shoaib Siddiqi and Administrator Karachi Rauf Akhtar Farouqi were present on the occasion.
The Sindh CM has ordered deployment of extra contingents of police and Rangers on Quaid’s Mazar to ensure the security of the hundreds of people who come here daily, Sharjeel said.
He refused to comment on the verbal sparring between MQM and PPP.
Regarding the Daish, he said that there was no evidence of the presence of the group in Karachi city.
Meanwhile, chairing a meeting of ministry of local government, Sharjeel Memon sought report on ghost employees so that they could be removed from services.
