KARACHI: Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and elected to field in the first of the two T20 matches against New Zealand in Dubai.
Umar Gul and Ahmed Shehzad have not been played while New Zealand are without their skipper Brendon McCullum and the fast-bowling duo, Tim Southee and Trent Boult.
