Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority chair Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said on Tuesday that the authority had trained over 3,000 staff in various disciplines in 2013-2014.
He was addressing a meeting at the Tevta Secretariat. Sheikh said the initiative had been taken to hone their professional skills.
He said the initiative will improve quality of training.
Sheikh said the initiative would complement the curriculum revision being undertaken by the authority.
Sheikh said 767 teachers had been trained in management, 736 in pedagogy and blended learning, 1017 in IT, 239 in skill upgradation, 19 in ELT among other disciplines.
