Maintaining order: 210 jawans complete anti-riot training

LAHORE: Two-hundred and ten police jawans completed anti-riot control training on Tuesday. The passing out ceremony was held at Police Lines, Qila Gujjar Singh.

Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera addressed the participants of the Anti-Riot Falcon Course. “The policemen should utilise what they learnt during training to protect life and property of citizens,” he said. CCPO Muhammad Amin Wains, Operations DIG Dr Haider Ashraf, SSP Investigation Muhammad Shahzad Sultan and all divisional SPs were present.

Wains told the IGP that the policemen were given lectures by senior lawyers, doctors, psychologist and religious scholars during the six-week training.
