MUZAFFARABAD:

Denmark has ruled out the possibility of his country mediating between Pakistan and India on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, its ambassador in Islamabad Jesper Moller Sorensen said on Monday. Instead, both Pakistan and India should settle the dispute through dialogue, Ambassador Sorensen said. At the same time, he called upon India to grant Kashmiris their due rights.

Ambassador Moller was addressing a reception organised by the Deputy Speaker of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Shaheen Kausar Dar in his honour here. Denmark’s ambassador said that his country is working in various developmental sectors and promotion of education in Pakistan.

He expressed his country’s willingness to enhance economic ties with Islamabad. He said his country’s companies want to do more business with Pakistan to cement the economic ties between the two countries.
