Mysterious murder: Labourer shot dead

RAWALPINDI: A 40-year-old labourer was shot dead at his workplace within the jurisdiction of Racecourse police, said a media report on Monday. The victim, identified as Juma Khan, was busy in digging foundation of the boundary wall of a plot in Mohallah Hajian when an armed assailant, identified as Toor Khan, opened fire at him and fled, said Inspector Malik Yousaf. Juma was taken to the DHQ hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. A case has been registered.
