US Secretary of State welcomes progress on improving Pakistan-Afghanistan relations

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and US Secretary of State John Kerry held a meeting in Washington and discussed regional security issues, Radio Pakistan reported Monday.
US Secretary of State welcomed progress on improving Pakistan-Afghanistan relations and termed it a step towards regional stability.
He assured General Raheel of his country's full support to Pakistan in this regard. Kerry also acknowledged Pakistan's role in fighting terrorism and its sacrifices.
He praised Pakistan Army's professionalism and termed it a truly binding force.
DG ISPR Asim Bajwa also took to his twitter account this morning to announce a productive meeting between General Raheel Sharif and John Kerry.
