KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Acting President Shaukat Ahmed said on Wednesday that the current fragile business environment was impeding investment decisions. He said that the business community of Pakistan was suffering due to the repercussion of the current law and order situation including sit-ins in Islamabad. Ahmed said that the drastic cling in investment would ultimately stop commercial activities in the countries which would create joblessness and law and order deterioration. “Pakistan is severely facing growing poverty due to lack of investable funds and transformation of policies. The present government has formulated various polices but, unfortunately, due to political uncertainty, most of them are not yet implemented.”
