Way forward: Khosa to mobilise disgruntled PML-N workers

Says he will first approach PML-N workers in Sindh.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa on Saturday declared his intention to travel to other provinces to unite disgruntled workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

He was addressing a press conference with his son Dost Muhammad Khosa at their house in Dera Ghazi Khan.

Khosa said the PML-N was being run by yes-men who had forgotten the promises they had made to their constituents before elections.

He said he would begin mobilising PML-N workers in Sindh.

“I have told Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef his party stands divided in several groups in Dera Ghazi Khan,” he said.

“If the party wants to remove ineligible ministers, they should start with the prime minister,” he said.

He said the PML-N was at power in the centre and in the Punjab and was ignoring the call for a south Punjab province.

“Those involved in Model Town killings should be punished according to law,” he said.

Khosa said the people of Pakistan were tired of inflation, energy crisis and poor law and order situation. The “I have defended the party leaders in the past but I can’t do that any longer,” he said.

He said several PML-N leaders had supported Pervez Musharraf.

He said Sharif had ignored people who made sacrifices for the party and had promoted his family members to top posts in the government.

“A man like Hamza Shahbaz has no political experience, yet he heads many important projects,” he said.

Khosa said the government had no solid policy for education or health. He said the PML-N had been divided in three groups in south Punjab – the Leghari group, the Qaisarani group and the Amjad Khosa group.
