Abbottabad declaration: MQM, TSHP to work for new provinces

ABBOTTABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Tehrik Suba Hazara Party (TSHP), the two political parties advocating creation of new provinces in the country, have pledged on Wednesday to struggle for their cause. Speaking to the media MQM’s MNA Rasheed Godail who held a meeting with TSHP’s chief Baba Haider Zaman, disclosed that the two parties have signed an agreement for a joint struggle for new provinces. He said the agreement, called the Abbottabad Declaration, would help strengthen their movement. Haider Zaman said that the demand for new provinces was not linguistic rather it is aimed at creation of new administrative units.
