QUETTA: The police registered cases of attempted murder against senior minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Balochistan chief Sardar Sanaullah Zehri on the directives of the Jhal Magsi Additional and Sessions judge.

According to the Balochistan Levies, the cases were registered under sections 109 and 324 against Zehri and eight other people.

“Jhal Magsi Additional and Sessions judge ordered the registration of the case following an application by Amanullah Zehri -- whose son survived an attack on October 6th,” he said.

Unidentified persons opened fire on Sharyar, the son of Amanullah, who remained unhurt. However, some of his security guards sustained bullet injuries in the attack.

Amanullah nominated Zehri in the case, and stated that the senior minister had given orders to kill his son.
