ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister’s Special Envoy Javed Malik on Monday met with Emirates Airline Group Chairman Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum. During the meeting various initiatives to expand business, trade and commerce relations between both countries were discussed. The ambassador highlighted business-friendly policies being introduced by the government designed to pave the way for creating opportunities for business, trade and investment in Pakistan. The operation of Emirates Airline in Pakistan was also discussed including various ideas relating to further expanding the scope of aviation business in the country. Maktoum said that bilateral relations have been growing steadily over the years and there is still a lot of scope to further expand them. He appreciated the role of over a million Pakistanis who live, work and do business in the United Arab Emirates.
