Various charges: Police nab 16 suspects in Pindi

RAWALPINDI:

Rawalpindi police have arrested 16 suspects from different areas of the city, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.

The police also recovered 5.5 kilogramme hashish, 16 bottle of liquor, 25 litre wine, and six pistols from their possession.

Race Course police arrested Gul Zubair with 1.1 kilogramme hashish while Usman was booked with 0.5 kilkogramme hashish. Civil Lines police hled Hidayat with 0.5 kilogramme hashish. Saddar Bairuni police recovered 1.3 kilogramme hashish from a suspected drug pusher, Saeed. Kahuta police seized 1,050 gram hashish and nabbed Abdul Farooq.

Another suspect Amraiz was sent behind the bars for possessing 1,050 grams of hashish. Gungmandi police seized 10 bottles of liquor and arrested Jahangir. Pirwadhai police held Ijaz with six liquor bottles. Naseerabad police recovered 15 liter wine from Hameed while 10 liter wine was recovered from Ismail. Police have registered cases against all the suspects.
