Rescue 1122: Foundation stone laid in Kotli Sattian

A foundation stone was laid on Sunday in Kotli Sattian for the establishment of Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122.A ceremony was held in Kotli Sattian where District Emergency Officer Dr Abdur Rehman welcomed Punjab Minister for Labour and Human Resources Raja Ashfaq Sarwar who also laid the foundation stone. Sarwar appreciated the rescue service and directed the building department to complete construction work on the project as soon as possible, so the service could begin by May next year. Rahman presented a performance review of Rescue 1122 in the district and informed participants that the service has saved 2.9 million victims of emergencies across Punjab since its inception. He also emphasised the need for a comprehensive emergency management system at the federal level.
