Old enmity: Student gunned down on Sixth Road

Rescue 1122 officials shifted him to Benazir Bhutto Hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries

RAWALPINDI:


Two unidentified persons gunned down a college student on Sixth Road on Saturday.


New Town police said the deceased, identified as Sanaullah, was a student of FSc at Step College situated on Sixth Road.


He said two bearded persons came and opened fire on the student, a resident of Singhal area of Gilgit-Baltistan, when he came out of the college, leaving him seriously injured.


Rescue 1122 officials shifted the student to Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.


He said the deceased received two bullets on the neck and chest. Rawal Town SP Karamat Malik, said the suspected killers were also from Gilgit and reportedly had an enmity with the deceased’s family.
