DASKA: Over 300 women from Daska, Sambrial, Pasrur and Sialkot staged a protest demonstration against gas load shedding on Thursday. They chanted slogans against the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited and said they had been facing difficulties due to gas load shedding. They said there was no gas being supplied to consumers for 10 to 12 hours every day. “There is no gas to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner,” said Rani, a protester. “Many of us stay awake late at night to cook food for the next day.”
