Australia has pledged technical assistance to the TETVA

LAHORE: Australia has pledged technical assistance to the Technical Education and Vocational Authority (TEVTA) for its services across the province, TEVTA chairperson Irfan Qaiser Shaikh said on Monday. He was addressing a meeting at the TEVTA secretariat. Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi was also present at the occasion. Shaikh said that Australia would help TEVTA improve its technical skills education and the curricula. He said that it would also help the authority upgrade its technical training infrastructure. Shaikh said the Australian High Commissioner was gratified on the launch of a dual-training programme at two TEVTA Institutes. “The Tevta is playing a leading role to provide skilled manpower.”
