Digital meter reading: IESCO to introduce new system

According to the new system, all meter readers shall be provided with modern cameras

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) will introduce a digital meter reading system in order to overcome over-billing complaints. According to the new system, all meter readers shall be provided with modern cameras which will be linked with a central computer system that would generate a bill after getting feedback from the ground. Officials hoped the new system will ensure accurate readings.
