Ideological Aspirations : ‘JI rally to lead to Islamic revolution’

LAHORE: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) ameer Sirajul Haq said on Friday that the party’s rally at Minto Park would foment a regional Islamic revolution. He was addressing a Friday congregation at a mosque in Mansoora. Siraj said the enforcement of an Islamic system in Pakistan and Afghanistan was imminent in the near future. He said the United States of America should completely withdraw from Afghanistan to avoid further humiliation. Siraj said the west should now realise that state-of-the-art armaments cannot withstand the power of faith. He said Pakistanis in cahoots with the west should relocate elsewhere as the people could no longer tolerate them.  Siraj said Pakistan had been conceived as an Islamic state. He said some hypocrites and imperial proxies had damaged Islam and Pakistan. Siraj said 56,000 people had been killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the war against terrorism. He said over 24,000 people had been killed in target killings in Karachi but nobody had been nabbed for committing the murders.
