Two people committed suicide in separate incidents in Khushab
KHUSHAB:
Two people committed suicide in separate incidents in Khushab on Tuesday. According to police, Arif*, a resident of Chak 30 M/B, was suffering from liver cancer. “He was depressed and had no money to continue his treatment. On Tuesday, he picked a gun and went to the nearby fields, where he shot himself. He died on the spot,” police said. The body of the deceased has been taken to a hospital for post mortem examination. In the second incident, a woman swallowed poisonous pills in Jamali Balocha. “The woman had had an argument with her parents. Later, she swallowed the poisonous pills. She was taken to a hospital, where she died,” police said.
