ISLAMABAD:

The police on Wednesday arrested a man while he and an accomplice were trying to escape after snatching a motorcycle from Sector I-10.

The police said two armed motorcyclists snatched a Honda-125 from Ejaz, a resident of Sector I-10/1, adding that the suspects also opened fire on a police squad that was approaching the crime scene. One of the suspects, Yaseen, was shot and injured in the exchange of fire. Police are searching for the accomplice.
