While briefing the media after a one-on-one meeting with PTI chief Imran Khan, JI Amir Sirajul Haq said both parties had a mutual agenda of ending the status quo, and to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state.
Chiefs of the two parties, who partner in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government, met in Islamabad on Wednesday to remove any misunderstandings between the two over their stance on the current political saga in the country.
“We have agreed to fight for a system where there is merit and justice,” Haq said. “The existing system has failed to provide welfare to the people.”
The JI Amir called for a transparent mechanism, where rigging is not possible and is free from any kind of national or international pressure.
“All those involved in rigging should be brought to the book,” he said.
Commenting on the current political crises in Pakistan, he said dialogue between protesters and the government should continue.
Haq also condemned the death sentences of JI leaders in Bangladesh, saying that their only crime was to side with the Pakistani state in 1971.
Sit-in to continue till justice is provided: Imran
Imran, speaking on the occasion, reiterated that the PTI sit-in will not end till those who rigged the 2013 polls were held accountable.
“We will keep on staging the sit-in until we get justice,” he said.
The PTI leader added he had made certain suggestions, which the JI head could put forth to the government.

So stop misguiding yourself, let alone others. And both your figures regarding PS 103 and NA 254 are false, you are the one distorting facts, next time check stats before making any comments. By the way your party also participated in the by elections on 22nd August on PS 95 and your candidate got 885 votes :D And talking about your claim (ambition) of 60,000 plus votes on every Karachi seat, let me remind you that your party could not manage even 50,000 votes on a single seat in 2002 (the highest being 42,000 on NA 245) when it contested the elections in an alliance with several religious parties under the name on MMA.

@ Ebad well yes PTi got some 800,000 votes from karachi. but what happened on 22nd August Bye elections in Karachi PTI got merely 2000 votes from north nazimabad seat and around 4000 votes from korangi seat, please don't distort the fact. it was jamat islami who boycotted the election which benefited PTi.
jamat islami boycotted election in karachi at 1:00 pm and almost most of the seats jamat got votes from 20 - 30 thousand. just imagine if jamat would have been in contest till 6:00 pm it would have been more than 60 k on most of the seats.
even after boycott just for 4 hours voting in Favor of jamat still manage to win ps 93 seat.
@ Aysha N Wake up, you are still fast asleep and dreaming in the past. PTI got around 800,000 votes from Karachi in the last elections. And the liberal, moderate and progressive Karachiites were were bulk of those 800,000. First time the Karachiites voted thinking beyond ethnicity, cast, creed and language. And come next elections, we intend to do the same, 21st September Jalsa was just a glimpse of that.

Ameer JI still playing politics but revival of JI at this time required to take solid decision whereas Siraj ul Haq confusing more and more that no one can understand what they want to talk with no clear agenda, JI under supervision of Siraj ul haq losing its credibility day and night. Siraj ul haq must to clarify their agenda and to prove that where they stands and where the party is, he looks so confuse person that in demonstration declare anti govt. policy on other hand while meeting PM assure them JI stands with PM.
Instead of holding useless parlays, why don't these "leaders" do something constructive. For example, let them rehabilitate the IDPS.
