LAHORE: Undeterred by the recent bloodbath at Wagah border, Sikh pilgrims from India arrived in Lahore on Tuesday in a special train, Express News reported.

At least 57 people were killed near the border crossing between Pakistan and India on November 2 when a suicide bomber detonated explosives in the midst of people gathered there to witness a parade.

Every year, hundreds of Indian pilgrims visit Pakistan to celebrate the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak. Most of them enter the country through Wagah railway station which is the last station on Lahore-Amritsar railway line.

The pilgrims arriving today will board buses and head to their destinations after due processing.
