Safe recovery: Eight kidnapped men freed in Orakzai

Political agent of the agency Zubair Khan says these people were kidnapped while travelling through Marai, Orakzai

HANGU: Eight persons kidnapped in Orakzai Agency four months ago were safely released by their captors on Thursday, the political agent of the agency Zubair Khan told reporters. He said these people were kidnapped when they were travelling through the Marai area of Orakzai. Unidentified men held them hostage and took them to an undisclosed location, the top official of the tribal agency said. Zubair Khan said the Orakzai Levies mounted several search operations in the area, however on Thursday the captors released the kidnapped men. Those set free were identified as Muhamamd Raouf, Qadam Khan, Mehmood, Muhamamd Usman, Faizullah, Naveed Ali, Sabir Ali, and Kiramat Ali.
