KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday urged his party workers not to comment any further on Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah’s ‘muhajir’ remarks.

According to statement released by MQM late on Wednesday, Altaf simultaneously told MQM workers in Karachi and Hyderabad along with party leaders that Shah has already tendered an apology on this matter.

The MQM supremo noted that it was a sensitive and contentious issue, and that it would be better for party members to stay away from such a matter, adding that he does not want to further complicate the matter.

He also urged Shah to seek forgiveness from the Almighty.

The MQM had reportedly filed a petition in the court on what its leaders had termed potentially sacrilegious remarks by Khursheed Shah.

It seems Rahman (baba) has arrived with (bag) in London! You would soon see Sindh will become a mother again with no chance of division anymore until unless the bag gets emptied. For God sake at least don't make a fool of millions of highly educated people of karachi!!
