Muharram Arrangements: Controversial posters to be removed

LAHORE: Lahore Commissioner Rashid Mahmood Langrial on Wednesday directed district coordination officers to take action against display of controversial posters and banners. He was addressing a meeting on Muharram arrangements.  Langrial said arrangements for processions were nearly complete.  He said control rooms had been established to monitor Muharram events and to register complaints.  He said procession routes and venues for majalis should be fumigated. DCOs from Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib and Kasur were also present at the meeting.
