Costly inferno: Fire destroys cotton stock at Faisalabad mill

FAISALABAD: Cotton stored at a mill was destroyed in a fire that started due to short-circuiting on Monday.

Rescue 1122 said the fire started at Ashraf Cotton Mill on Satiana Road at 12:00 noon. The fire soon spread to the store and destroyed the cotton.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and put out the fire after several hours. No injury was reported.
