LAHORE: A traffic warden reunited an eight-year-old girl with her parents after she was separated from them during a trip to the Lahore Zoo on Sunday. According to police, Ghulam Nabi, a resident of Faisalabad, had come to the zoo with his family. During the visit, the girl strayed away. Her parents looked for her but could not find her. They went to one of their relatives in Gowalmandi. Traffic Warden Salmaan later saw the girl weeping near the main gate of the zoo. He took her to the nearby traffic police office. He asked her about her parents and their relatives. The police then located the girl’s parents and brought them to the office, where they were reunited with the girl. Chief Traffic Officer Tayyab Hafeez Cheema has announced a cash prize and appreciation certificate for the warden.
