Motive unknown: Two bodies found in DI Khan

Bullet-riddled body of Mushtaq was found from a field in Zani Khel area of Kulachi tehsil

DI KHAN:

Two bodies were recovered from separate localities in DI Khan on Thursday, police officials informed The Express Tribune.

The bullet-riddled body of Mushtaq, a resident of Kot Azam in Tank district, was found from a field in Zani Khel area of Kulachi tehsil, said officials at Kulachi police station.

Mushtaq had been recruited in the police force in 2007 but was sacked due to prolonged absence from work. The deceased’s brother has lodged an FIR saying Mushtaq had no enemies. The motive behind the murder remains unknown.

In a separate incident, police recovered the body of Shafiq, a resident of Nakwara, from Kot Esa Khel area. An official at Saddar police station said a motorcycle and mobile phone were also found from the scene. A complaint has been lodged and further investigation is under way.
