Raid: 20 held for ‘objectionable’ activities

Police registered cases against them and investigations are under way

RAWALPINDI: The Rawat police arrested 20 people, including women, for their alleged involvement in objectionable activities on Wednesday.  Acting on a tip-off, a police party raided a guesthouse in Phase-VIII and arrested Akhtar, Inayat, Ramzan, Iftikhar, Faizan, Waheed, Jahangir, Waqas, Azam, Adil, Abid, Usman, Atif, Mehdi, Sarfraz, Yasmin, Ayesha, Iqra, Riaz and Sewra under objectionable conditions. The police registered cases against them and investigations are under way, said a press release.
