ISLAMABAD: The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has extended the deadline for its Professional Partnership Programme for Journalists to October 29. The USEFP had invited journalists to apply for the US-Pakistan Professional Partnership Programme till October 20 but now the date has been extended. The programme involves journalists from both countries to work together and build professional relationships as well as provides them the opportunity to learn about media practices in each other’s countries. The programme will provide approximately 110-140 participants from Pakistan the opportunity to study and take an active part in journalism practiced in the US. Selected participants will spend up to three weeks in a US newsroom. The programme is also knit throughout with events and opportunities to experience American life.
