Punjab Assembly adopts bill to issue diplomatic passports to speaker, deputy speaker

LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly passed on Tuesday a bill seeking to issue diplomatic passports to top members of the assembly, Express News reported.

The bill passed by Provincial Minister for Finance, Excise and Taxation Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman was unanimously approved by the assembly.

As per the bill, Punjab Asembly speaker, deputy speaker and other officials will be issued a blue passport to ensure there are no obstacles and visa restrictions during international travel.

Earlier, on March 18 the provincial assembly had also approved a similar bill seeking diplomatic passports for officials.

Another bold step has been taken by the punjab bullitarians, I think this is punishment of our sins that we chosed these kinds of another branch of bullies.VIP culture should be eradicate from the whole country by eradicting pmln out.

No where in the world such step is taken. For how long period - 5 years or 10 years ? This is just to continue with the VIP culture.
