Third party intervention inevitable for Kashmir: Mirwaiz

SRINAGAR: All Parties Hurriyat Conference-moderate faction leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq met visiting delegates of the European Union in Srinagar.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Farooq said third party intervention is inevitable for solving the Kashmir issue. He said New Delhi has been requested to pull out troops, release prisoners and end human rights violations before resuming peace talks.

The delegates have also met Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Gelani. They arrived in Srinagar on Sunday for a three-day visit.
