[Not] duty-bound: 25 constables issued show-cause notices

Such behaviour is demoralising for the police force

MULTAN: As many as 25 police officials were issued show cause notices for allegedly refusing to perform duties at the sit-ins in Islamabad.

An official notification in this regard was issued by Operations SSP Chaudhary Muhammad Saleem. The list included three women officials.  Saleem said these officials, mostly constables, were deputed from Multan to control the law and order during protests in Islamabad

He said apparently they had refused to work in Islamabad during the sit-ins.

He said such behaviour was demoralising for the police force.
