ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) continued its anti-encroachment drive last week. During an operation against illegal constructions, teams of CDA Enforcement Directorate demolished a house comprising two rooms adjacent to a graveyard on 9th Avenue, which falls in the route of Metro Bus Project and was causing hindrance in the project. Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) officials also participated in the operation. During another operation on IJ Principal Road, the Enforcement Directorate razed an under-construction plaza adjacent to Turbo CNG near Carriage Factory and retrieved CDA’s land from illegal occupants.
