Competitive examination: 439 candidates pass CSS exam

ISLAMABAD: Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced result of Central Superior Services (CSS) Competitive Examination 2014, in which only 439 candidates, comprising 3.3% of the total participants, have passed to qualify for interview. According to the FPSC’s official website, a total of 24,640 candidates applied for the CSS written examination and 13,170 of them appeared in the exam. Out of these 13,170 participants, only 439 candidates could clear the papers. Of the total 439 successful candidates, 294 are male while 145 are female. Candidates, who have passed in the written examination, will be intimated schedule of medical examination, psychological assessment and viva voce, in due course of time.
