State of the art: Children’s Hospital gets MRI machine

The machine was installed at a cost of Rs180 million

A state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine has been installed at the Children’s Hospital at a cost of Rs180 million.

The machine is operated on an experimental basis. Adviser to Chief Minister on Health Khwaja Salman Rafique inspected the new installed machine at the hospital on Tuesday and said this would help mitigate the patients’ difficulties.

Medical Director Ahsan Waheed Rathore said this would help doctors in diagnosing complicated diseases.
