Industrial hazard: LHC to hear plea challenging raids at filling stations
The petitioner asked the court to stop inspectors from harassing them

Lahore High Court on Tuesday accepted a plea challenging raids by Labour inspectors at filling stations.
The petitioner said a notification from the Governor’s House had empowered inspectors to conduct raids at the stations. He said those conducting raids were not experts.
The petitioner said they had no knowledge about measuring and quality tools either.
He said they were conducting raids to harass owners of the stations.
The petitioner asked the court to stop them from harassing them. He also requested the court to ensure only experts were deputed for raids.
