A man hacked his father to death with an axe on Tuesday in Trand village.
According to Kala police, Ghulam Rasool had suspected that his wife had established illicit relations with his father, Ramazan, 60. “Ghulam Rasool attacked his father with an axe and critically injured him, who later died on his way to hospital,” police said. The body was taken to a hospital for an autopsy and later handed over to the family.
Separately, a man and his accomplices shot another one in Fazilpur on Tuesday. According to Taranda Muhammad Panah police, Akram used to visit the house of a neighbour, Makhan, 55. “Makhan suspected that Akram was trying to establish illicit relations with his daughter-in-law and barred him from his house. This angered Akram, who shot Makhan at his home along with his accomplices,” police said. Makhan died on the spot.
Police have registered a case against Akram and his accomplices on the complaint of Makhan’s son, Rafique. Akram has been taken into custody. Police are looking for the other suspects.
