Punjab cabinet reshuffled

LAHORE: In a surprising move, the Punjab chief minister on Monday handed over reins of the provincial ministry to Environment Minister Shuja Khanzada as an additional charge as portfolios of three ministers were changed.

An official of DGPR claimed that the Cabinet Division had notified the change however no official confirmation was made.

According to the official, Environment Minister Shuja Khanzada has been given the additional charge of Punjab Interior Ministry. The charge was previously held by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Further, the additional portfolio of Law Minister was taken back from Education Minister Rana Mashood. It has now been entrusted to Minister for Excise and Taxation Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman.

I can agree that Punjab is better than other provinces. But look who was the PM of Pakistan. It was NS and this is the third time. He did not let other provinces prosper. And ofcourse you get that benefit of your brother around on all foreign trips. All the deals are struck for Punjab. Karachi is the most populated city of Pakistan. DO you know that? But the PM did not initiate the Metro in Karachi. You know why? Coz PMLN doenot rule Karachi, they rule Punjab and want to divert all resources to Punjab only. And talk of Punjab, the interior Punjab is still in a mess, baby eaten by a mouse in gov hospital, idiotic laptop schemes and what not. SS is not a visionary. Look at the Gullu Butt police, this is the gift SS have given to Punjab.

Alina | 10 years ago | Reply When I weigh the good and the bad I see more good done by Shahbaz Sharif then bad. Compare living standards, crime rate, availability of clean drinking water, infrastructure, cost of living in Punjab with other province and you will realize the good.this man has done. Heck just check the difference as you drive across country, the moment you enter Punjab, the road quality improves drastically. So I request everyone to not be biased and compare your living standards with those of other provinces. Also bear in mind Punjab has the largest population which means more challenges and yet we are better off. God bless Shahbaz Sharif, I will continue to vote for him. Further for those saying he murdered 14 people in Lahore, well most of us don't buy because there is no evidence that suggests that orders to open fire given by SS.
