Distinction: UAF ranked among 100 top varsities
Ranking programme offers annual performance rankings for universities
LAHORE:
The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF), has been ranked 97th across the world and the 20th in Asia Pacific in the subject of agriculture sciences, according to National Taiwan University (NTU) Ranking 2014. In the subject of plant and animal sciences, it has attained 247th position worldwide and 42nd in Asia Pacific. In the NTU Global Ranking (www.nturanking.tw) 2013, the university had emerged as the first Pakistani institution to be ranked among top 100 universities in any category. It stood 98th. Formerly known as the HEEACT Ranking, the ranking programme offers annual performance rankings for universities based on the production and impact of their scientific papers.
