FAISALABAD:

State Minister for Water and Power Chaudhary Abid Sher Ali on Sunday said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan did not want to see progress and prosperity in the country.

Addressing a press conference Ali said PTI chairman should stop attacking the PML-N leaders.

“If PTI workers continue to throw stones, PML-N workers can respond in kind,” he said. He said Khan’s sit-in in Islamabad had caused an irreparable loss to the national economy. “The PTI is not paying attention to the rehabilitation of people displaced from Waziristan and the flood-hit people,” he said. “Instead, the PTI is wasting resources on sit-ins to bring the government down.”

Ali said Khan was pushing the country toward a civil war. “It is as if Khan does not want foreign investment to come to the country. He does not want Pakistan to prosper,” he added.

He also criticised the Pakistan Awami Tehreek for “fooling their followers.”
