The Bhara Kahu police have detained a man for allegedly cheating a man after purchasing a vehicle from him.


Farmanullah had lodged a case with the police stating that Najaf Khan* had defrauded him of Rs450,000 after purchasing a vehicle from him. The complainant said that Khan issued a ‘forged cheque’ as when he went to the bank to cash the cheque, the bank officials told him that there was no money in Khan’s account. The complainant approached the police for arresting the fraudster. The police arrested the suspect and further investigation is under way.
