Smooth drive: Kashmir Highway bridge opens

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday opened a bridge over a railway line near Golra Toll Plaza on Kashmir Highway. Construction work on the 10-lane bridge commenced in March 2014 and was completed in six months. The bridge would facilitate a large number of commuters, especially those returning to Islamabad from their hometowns after Eidul Azha celebrations. Construction work on the side of bridge entering Islamabad had already been completed. Now, the lanes for traffic heading from Islamabad to Golra Toll Plaza have also been opened.
