The incident took place in a village on the outskirts of the city.
A case has been registered against four people including the mother-in-law and father-in-law of the victim F*.
According to initial reports, Nasir Hussain - who was F's husband - was reportedly murdered by his son and F's in-laws were suspicious that she was involved in the murder.
According to the police, F had an argument with her in-laws, which escalated to her being beaten to death by a hammer.
