According to a Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, Pakistani troops appropriately responded to the firing from the Indian side.
No casualty was reported till the filing of this report.
The Indian troops have frequently violated ceasefire along the LoC. A recent spate of LoC and working boundary violations since July has resulted in casualties on both sides of the border.

It is too sick to target civilians during Muslim festival...All life is precious...I see that all Pakistani newspapers are silent on what is going on at LOC and IB...they must be voice for Voiceless...
everyone knows who is responsible for infiltration in India. Pakistan should have been given replied for that.
Based on pictures of the LOC you would think your looking at colorized pictures of WW1 defenses - guess all that money spent on nukes wasn't enough protection?
Uffff children ... Stop squabbling . Do both the sides at least remember / know what's the fight about. ?
TIt for tat This match is not going in draw or tie. India will have decisive victory.
Looking at the Pakistani post picture, it looks exactly like an ant mound.
ET - don't you have any other photo because this is the only photograph being shown by ET since last one year on the news of LOC violations as observed by me.
@An Indian: Buffer zones can certainly help
And Indian papers are full of Pakistanis violating the ceasefire. There's this story about how ceasefire violations have killed a young girl in India. So who started it? I know in Pakistan, they will say that India started it and we would say that Pakistan started it.
So where does this end. How do we ensure cease-fire violations are reduced for both our sakes.
What more you can expect..Stop it India Pakistan...move on....I hope Prime Ministers meet at Saarc will bring changes
